A few steps to the harbour, Aldebaran is beautiful and comfortable, it stands right in the middle of the charming street - Via Sardegna, the most famous and characteristic street across the Marina district (Quartiere della Marina) in the historical centre of Cagliari.

The street's name - via Sardegna, shows its centrality and importance. In ancient times it was through this street, those who arrived by sea, had access to the hinterland of the island.

Since last year, Via Sardegna became a pedestrian street. This makes our hotel extremely quiet and relaxing.

In the morning you can enjoy your breakfast at a local popular coffee shop located just few metres away.

Nearby there is La Barrique (labarrique.com), every week it offers different menus which link to the seasons and to the traditions of Italian regional cuisine or the international cuisine.

Thanks to the very central location, all major city attractions are only a few minutes walk: the shopping streets of Via Roma, Largo Carlo Felice, Via Manno, Via Garibaldi.
Walking a few steps you can reach the sea harbour, from Aldebaran you can see the architecture of the new Marina and the romantic streets of Old Town.
The long and beautiful beach of Cagliari - the Poetto, is ten minutes by bus and the bus stop is in Via Roma, just a few meters from our B&B.
