Balestrate is conveniently located so that you can easily visit many of Siciliy's most famous and beautiful destinations. Trapani and the old mountain-top city of Erice are just 50km away, and the ancient ruins of Segesta are 20km away. The old famous fishing town of Scopello is also 20km, and the beautiful nature preserve at Zingaro is also nearby. Palermo and Monreale are about 35km and easily accessible by train and bus. Agrigento's Valle dei Tempeii, among the best-preserved ancient Greek ruins, are only 130km from Balestrate. Many more beautiful locations, towns, and sights are also within reach of the Casa.
