Amenano B&B is situated on the second floor of an elegant and historical building built in the 700's by a noble family. Therefore, the 'palazzo' itself is considered to be a building of historical and architectural value.

Nightlife, known as 'Movida Catanese' is located a few meters away from our B&B with a many 'Caffe Concerto' and other typical local coffee shops specializing in delicious local pastries, pubs, restaurants, sidewalk café's, tavola calda and many other popular meeting places. By day, one can visit the most important monuments that the city has to offer including the Duomo, the Greco-Roman Theatre, the Amenano Fountain, La Pescheria (a historical and folkloristic fish market) the historical Palazzo dell'Universita, Via Crociferi, Via Etnea (the main shopping street) and everything else that normally can be found in the heart of a City like Catania. All this and more (including the very large daily open-air market) are within walking distance of our B&B.
