Since 1920, three family's generation followed in managing the long-established 'Pensione Mele', and still today we are welcoming our guests in a very warm and familiar atmosphere with experience and dedication.
We are surrounded by the most significant attractions of the city and to whom may be interested in visiting the whole province, the bus stops and coaches terminus are conveniently reachable within walking distance.

The hotel is right in the middle of the historical area, where the most important monuments are located, such as the Opera Theatre, the Cathedral, the ancient Roman Theatre and the Greek/Roman, just to mention some of them. We are very close to the vibrant (Etnea Street) Via Etnea, Barocco style shopping centre of the town and its elegant Villa Bellini, Catania's old park. Within walking distance you are in the artistic Via Crociferi, where there are numerous churches, all of them in splendid Barocco style. Thereby there is the typical and characteristic Fish Market, where a huge choice of Sicilian specialities is offered, and where you can size the genuine essence of the town with its unique and unmistakable colours, scents and flavours.
