Sicily hosts two main and two secondary regional airports: Catania and Palermo, Trapani and Comiso. These airports are served by the greatest world airlines, making daily connections to and from the most popular holiday destinations in Italy and worldwide, with low cost airlines to and from the airport Vincenzo Florio (Trapani-Birgi airport). Once landed at one of these sites (better Trapani or Pelermo airport to go to Erice), it is possible to join the main regional attractions very easily thanks to railway or much better through the good motorway networks. All the airports are linked to local train stations with aerobus services. There are also urban bus stops or, for those who prefer cars, several car rental companies. Landing at the airport of Trapani Birgi (Vincenzo Florio), at the airport exit you need to take first SP21 direction Trapani, then enter the motorway direction Palermo and after a few kilometers follow direction Trapani taking SS115, in trapani follow Via G.B. Fardella and always straight on Corso Piersanti Mattarella and Via Alessandro Manzoni which are a unique big street going up to the mountain where starts the SP31 going directly up to the Erice mountain. Also, if you prefer, Trapani and Erice are linked by Erice's cableway. Landing at Palermo airport, take A29 motorway towards Mazara del Vallo-Trapani and, at the end of the motorway, take SS187 to Valderice and then follow Via Erice up to the top of the mountain. Landing at the airport of Catania, you reach Erice taking A19 motorway direction Palermo and then A29 motorway direction Mazara del Vallo-Trapani. At the end of the motorway, take SS187 towards the small town of Valderice, and then follow Via Erice up to the top of the mountain (760 mt. on the sea level). Load your itinerary on googlemaps in order to know how to reach us! But do not follow SP3 which is a very difficult road. We are at the corner between Via Vittorio Emanuele and Via Nicolò Toscano, that on navigators is known as Via Vito Carvini, # 1, 91016 Erice TP. The welcome point is in the first building you can see on the left passing through og going around the medieval door named Porta Trapani.
