Directions to In Castello

By car: from Lucca follow the road S.S. n°12 until a crossroads (Esselunga shopping centre) and here turn left, pass through two tunnels and continue along Serchio Valley (S.P.2). Continue up the road which runs straight up the valley bottom always with river on our right and pass towns of Diecimo (18 km) and Borgo a Mozzano (22 km), famous for the 'Ponte del Diavolo' (Devil's Bridge). Continue up the valley until Gallicano. By train: the nearest rail station is Barga-Gallicano at about 2 km from the hostel. Normally we provide transfer from the rail station to the hostel
