Directions to Hotel Cortese

By airplane: Airports Milano Malpensa (47 km), Milano Linate (92 km) and Torino Caselle (116 km) You can get to the Cortese Hotel by hiring a car directly from the agencies at the airport, or by train (shuttle service from the airport to the railway stations). A daily bus service connects Malpensa Airport to the lakes, specifically to Borgomanero, Stresa and Arona, a few kilometres from the hotel By train: The railway stations nearest to the hotel are the ones of Orta-Miasino (3.5 km), Omegna (7 km) and Borgomanero (16 km) on the Novara-Domodossola line, and those of Arona (20 km) and Stresa (18 km) on the Milano-Domodossola line. By car: Take the motorway Milan-Lakes (A8) and proceed toward Gravellona Toce (A26). Recommended exits are the following: • Arona toll-booth (16 km from the hotel, about 18 minutes by car): turn left toward Borgomanero, after about 1.5 km enter the roundabout and turn right to Invorio, following directions for Mount Mottarone (Bolzano Novarese, Ameno, Armeno) • Exit of Brovello Carpugnino (1 4km from the hotel, about 16 minutes by car): at the roundabout take the street on the right and after about 700 metres go uphill on the left toward Gignese - Armeno. You can also reach the hotel by taking motorway A26 Voltri-Sempione and exit at the toll-booth of Borgomanero (23 km from the hotel, about 25 minutes by car). From here keep left following directions to Lake d'Orta and then to Mount Mottarone (we recommended you avoid crossing the centre of Borgomanero, by taking the bypass flyover which will be met after about 2 km from the motorway exit).
