Welcome to our unique bed and breakfast- Il Molendino was originally founded as a mill in 1366 and was under the care of the Carthusian order until 1972. We are located 10km from Pisa city on the banks of the Zambra Brook, with easy access to Pisa and Lucca, as well as the Tirrenian Sea. We are the ideal rural location for travellers looking to explore and discover Tuscany. While staying at the bed and breakfast you can enjoy the beautiful olive groves, shady green garden and large park which surround the guesthouse. Il Molendino is the ideal location for guests looking for an active break in Tuscany with great walks, cycle tracks and engaging trails all with easy access from the guesthouse.

We offer a transfer service to and from the airport by car, at an extra charge. By bus from Pisa Station to Calci take the bus number 120 . When you are in Calci, get off at via Caprili and follow the directions for Molendino.

FROM PISA'S "GALILEO GALILEI" AIRPORT (8 kms)
By car:
• Take the Fi-Pi-Li dual carriageway in the direction of Florence and exit at Navacchio-Visignano.
• At the roundabout, take the left turning in the direction of Navacchio and, from this point onwards, follow the signs to Calci.
• When you arrive at Localitá (=district/area) "La Corte" in Calci, go straight on at the small roundabout.
• At the next small roundabout, take the first turning on the right as indicated for Localitá "Nicosia".
• After about 500 m., turn to the right and follow the signs to Localitá "Nicosia".
• Stay on via Buozzi until you find the sign for the "Ex Convento di Sant'Agostino" and, once you have gone over the small bridge, turn into the lower lane on the left.
