We're just over the top of Colle Esquilino (one of the famous seven hills), in an area called for 'the heart of Rome' by writers such as Carlo E. Gadda and Amara Lakhous. Roman nobleman Mecenas built his gorgeous villa here; today, people from all over the world walk, work, and enjoy themselves here. The ancient Arch of Gallienus (3rd c.) and famous restaurants Trattoria Monti and Agarta e Romeo are next to our door.
