This historic residence and former customs house in the sixteen hundreds, where cross the boundary between the Papal State and the Grand Duchy of Tuscany and stop in search of revitalization. The charm of a structure so rich in history has been skillfully restored and it’s the destination for those who are looking for an exclusive place, tastefully furnished, characterized by hospitality and a genuine flavor of Tuscany.

The garden, the building, and every room create a setting through objects, colors and communicative artifacts displays that rotate coming from artists all around the world.
A new concept in exhibiting art, open to all and lived in the relaxation of a vacation. All of the pieces displayed are for sale, with delivery to your place of residence available.
All guests have available to them a furnished deck with couches and comfortable pillows, a yard with an age-old tree with small tables and chairs below, a chaise lounge, a gazebo to enjoy unique moments of relaxation.
Furthermore, there is a music room, theater, and many interesting books available.
At our restaurant you’ll find only organic fruit from our grounds or acquired from other local agritourismos, meats from range animals, pasta, breads and sweets made in-house with organic eggs, everything from right here. We cook only with extra virgin olive oil and never use products with added preservatives or colors.
We place extra attention to those who have diet intolerances or are vegan or vegetarian.
We offer a creative menu where ancient Tuscan recipes are revised by the inspiration of the chef.

The organic agritourismo Sant’Egle is found near the splendid medieval towns of Sorano and Pitigliano, a little ways from the Baths of Sorano (Terme di Sorano), in the province of Grosseto, in Maremma Tuscany, Italy.

From the GPS point take the dirt road to the left of the entrance to the baths (Terme), at the fork keep to the left. You will see the agritourismo on your right. The road is flat and in perfect condition for cars and motorcycles.

BY CAR
From the north by way of Cassia:
Autostrada del Sole (A1), direction Roma (Rome), exit Firenze Certosa, head into the junction for Siena, exit Siena south, direction Roma, stay on the SS Cassia for 70 km, at Ponte al Rigo take the fork towards Sorano 20km away. In Sorano follow the signs for Terme di Sorano. After 2km you will find the baths (Terme) and a dirt road on your left. Take the dirt road, at the fork keep left. You will see the agritourismo on your right. The road is flat and in perfect condition for cars and motorcycles.

From the south by way of the highway:
Autostrada del Sole (A1), direction Firenze (Florence), exit Orte, take the junction for Viterbo, exit direction of Siena, after 4km turn left continuing to Valentano, then follow the signs for Pitigliano, finally you will find the signs for Sorano. In Sorano follow the signs for Terme di Sorano. After 2km you will find the baths (Terme) and a dirt road on your left. Take the dirt road, at the fork keep left. You will see the agritourismo on your right. The road is flat and in perfect condition for cars and motorcycles.
