Reviews for Ca Mignon

Considering it is in the island of venice it has a good price. It is in a good location, 7 - 12 min by walk to main attractions, but takes more time to go back if you like to explore and don't pay the vaporetto for locomotion (7 EUR). When we got there (may/2012) we were moved to another room (a "low budget room") that had nothing to do with the fotos. The room was ok, nothing special, the only problem is that it was stinking, probably because it had only one small window thath you couldnt open really well, therefore no light or fresh air went in the room. Bathroom was small but clean and functional, and beds were also good. When we woke up to get breakfast the attendant was very rude and said that we had to pay for thtat on the day before (altough no one told me that when I arrived), becuase my "low budget" booking didn't include breakfast. On that day he said it wasn't possible to give us breakfast, altough there was food. Anyway, not only in the hotel in whole italy there was the worst customer service i've seen on my life, be prepared.

It was fantastic stay and worth fot the money. The room was spatious, full of light and very cosy. It was clean, maybe just the bathroom curtain was a bit dirty and the water pressure in the shower should be repaired. But we considered these details as a part of the ancient town and we were happy that they dont spoil the old houses with the horrible modern interiors as everywhere else.
