Imagine a gate under an arch covered with roses, imagine a pathway flanked with age-old trees and a house surrounded by a sea of flowers: antique and English roses, hydrangeas, tulips, narcissuses and crocuses in spring, and brightly-coloured flowerbeds of annuals enhancing the edges of the garden.

You are at La Casa di Albertina, a typical end-of nineteenth century Italian country-house restored and refurnished by someone who cherishes nature and the countryside in her heart.

Even one single day spent here will end up being a very special experience.

Part of the house, with a private entrance, is indeed available for whoever should like to freely enjoy its special and distinctive atmosphere.

On the ground floor, which is paved in terracotta, you will find a hall, a living/dining room and an amazing stonewall sheltering an antique fireplace that is a friendly meeting point especially in winter. You will also find a kitchen and a restroom.

La casa di Albertina is only a few minutes drive from Verona city centre and has been restored according to bio-architectural principles, therefore using only natural materials. All this has been done in an effort to preserve and enhance its original and antique structure: its main wall with visible Lessinia stones, its terracotta interior, its staircase made of Prun stone, its wooden beams ceilings, part of its age-old original furniture.
Outside, you will walk along a distinctive timber portico sustained by brick pillars and surrounded by a large and relaxing park; beside it is a restored old well, still functioning.
In summer, breakfast is served outside.

The bedrooms are on the upper floors: a double room, a twin and a triple room, with 3 bathrooms, small living rooms and built-in wardrobes.
From every room you will enjoy a pleasant view of the garden, which the owner fondly treasures and upkeeps.

By car: From the motorway exit A4 of VERONA SUD follow the signs for Modena until the village of Cadidavid. After the traffic lights continue for 300 meters. By train: get off at Porta Nuova station and take bus no. 41 (No. 94 evening and weekend) DIRECTION Cadidavid from platform E. Get off at the terminus, go back on the main street and cross. From the airport: take the TANGENZIALE SUD, exit Cadidavid, at the traffic lights turn right and continue until the village of Cadidavid. After the traffic lights continue for 300 meters.
