Tenjin Lodge, in the mountains of Minakami, is situated inside the Joetsu Highland National Park only 170km from Tokyo and a few hundred meters from the Tanigawa-dake mountain ropeway and Tenjin-daira ski resort.
Tenjin Lodge offers Western and Japanese style private rooms (en suite), family rooms (en suite) and group rooms.
Our kitchen serves up great food to suit all budgets and at our restaurant and bar you can access free WiFi. Back country ski and snowboarding tours, snowshoe and hiking tours are available in house while our relationships with local adventure companies allow us to offer discounted rafting or canyoning tours.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are also more than happy to point you toward the right hiking trail, of which there are dozens to choose from. The lodge is adjacent to a number of secluded swimming holes and we can set you up with a BBQ in the Summer as you enjoy the river.
