Reviews for Hotel Xbalamque Cancun

This hotel has potential but quite many things weren't taken care of properly. We booked two roomes and both of them had broken lamps, in the other room the tv did not function and there was no hot water. We also had problems with the breakfast as breakfast was included in our room price. When we were at the restaurant one morning the waiter did not give us any breakfast and told us to go to the reception in order for us to sort things out. Also the receptionists did not have any information that we had also payed for breakfast. Nobody told us when we checked in that we should have breakfast coupons in order to receive the continental breakfast (which was really lousy: one and a half toasts with some jam). So remember to ask for the coupons when you get to the hotel! When we returned to the breakfast room we didn't get any service because of the 'small accident' and the waiter was really rude and ignorent as if the whole thing was our fault. It was also annoying that they had a restaurant which played live music until 3.30 am and it was impossible to get any sleep before that. All in all it could have been a nice place with a pool and nice decoration but we were quite dissapointed.
