We also feature massage services and a tours desk to ensure your stay in Nepal is as stress free as possible.

Guests at the Hotel Parkside can choose from our choice of 16 guest bedrooms. All rooms feature private bathroom facilities and 24 hour solar powered hot water. Other amenities include safe deposit boxes and laundry services. Breakfast is included in the rates.

The main objective to visiting the Hotel Parkside is to experience the wonderful National Park and the cultural aspects of Sauraha village. Here at the property we offer a homely, community environment where guests can experience true Nepalese culture- and for really adventurous guests we can arrange for you to have dinner with a local family eating real Nepalese Dal Baht (rice and vegetables). The National Park features a range of natural attractions such as the Churia hill range and the flood plains of Rapti, Rew and Nayarani rivers. The park also neighbours the Parsa Wildlife Reserve. Entry to the park requires a fee of NRs. 500 per day. Naturally as the park is a protected area a number of rules and regulations apply and must be respected by visitors.

For those coming on safari please be advised that May- September are hot & rainy months and Dec-Feb are very cold so please bring appropriate clothing. Items of note to consider when travelling on safari also include sun hats, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, insect repellents, flashlight, light walking shoes, binoculars and general medicines and first aid equipment.
