The light in the hallway is automatic, so everytime someone goes to the bathroom, the light turns on. There's windows over the door, so, it feels like someone turned the light on in your bedroom. It's really annoying. But it's clean and the location is good.

I definitely recommend staying here, the service was wonderful the receptionist goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. The kitchen is very updated and so are the bathrooms, even though they are shared. Everything was cleaned daily and well maintenance. Also the security was very good, I never felt unsafe there. The only negative is that the hotel is very far from the center of Amsterdam, but it is located in a really cool safe neighborhood and shows you a neighborhood filled with locals, not tourists.
