The place is located in the Amsterdam New-West neighbourhood, which is a relatively newer neighbourhood in the West of Amsterdam, built in the 20th century. The neighbourhood is particularly inhabited by young families with children. In the area there are two parks: Sloterpark and Rembrantpark, which are great for recreational activities. The area is relatively close to the Museum Quarter and the party area (Leidseplein).
The area is easily accessible by public transportation. In order to get there you can take tram lines 1 and 17 from Central Station. From Central Station you can take other tram lines that can get you to your points of interest during your stay in Amsterdam.
