Orchard View B&B was built in 1849 as a linen weavers cottage and now it provides comfortable accommodation with beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding areas. We are located within walking distance of Scarva Village in the heart of the countryside in Co. Armagh.
The Orchard View guesthouse offers a choice of large bedrooms including a double room, a twin room and a small single room. Each room is comfortably furnished with a pleaseant outlook and all feature shared bathrooms with either a shower or roll top bath. Here at the property we have also provided a sitting room for guests and use of the 1.5 acre garden to relax and enjoy the landscaped gardens and mountain views.
Guests can try our free range eggs from our own hens and sample home grown fruit from the garden.
Scarva village is a half a mile walk from the property and the village features a friendly pub, shop, visitor centre, park, award winning gardens and 26 miles of canal towpath where it is possible to cycle or walk to either Portadown or Newry along beautiful countryside.
The designer outlet near Banbridge is only a few minutes drive away where shoppers can purchase the latest designer fashions with up to 70% off RRP.
The nearby city of Armagh is only a 15 minute drive with its fabulous museums, 2 cathedrals and award winning Planetarium is only a few miles away and access to the Mourne mountains and the seaside resort of Newcastle is reachable in less than 45 minutes. Visitors can also experience Lough Neagh with its activities and attraction Orchard View B&B is less than an hour from Belfast City with its attractions and lively nightlife.
