The Nordkinn Peninsula is the northernmost piece of land of the European continent. The landscape is open and rugged, and frequent storms blow through it. The Arctic night lasts 3 months, as does the midnight sun. Northern lights are almost guaranteed in winter.
The End of the World Guesthouse - a former boarding house for the fish factory workers - offers little comfort and plenty of character. There's one twin and one double room for our guests. Your hostess lives in the same house, and all share one toilet, one shower, and a living/dining room. We have four horses, and the saddle room is situated in the cellar - accessed through the kitchen. A substantial breakfast is included in the room price. We can also offer lunch/dinner, traditional Norwegian, Finnish and international cuisine with a local flavour.
Horse-back riding is available on Norwegian Fjord Horses. Guided tours to local attractions and nature tours can be arranged. Two kicksleds are free to use

The guesthouse is located in the middle of a village at the end of the World. There's a shop and a cafeteria, a museum and a church in the village. The old German bunkers are partly demolished, but can still be visited.
The northernmost lighthouse in the World, now a cultural heritage site, is 4 km from Gamvik. On the road to the lighthouse is also the main gate to the Slettnes Nature Reserve.
