It is an excellent place to meet other travellers and share travel tips, while relaxing under the warm desert sun. Carola is a friendly and unpretentious hotel, where all guests are welcome, although on on average our guests tend to be between the age of 18 and 30.
Located about half a block from the famous Huacachina lagoon, Carola del Sur is a large and popular hostel that seeks to satisfy all your vacation needs. In addition to unforgettable tours and delicious food in our hotel restaurant, Carola del Sur has dorm room beds for travellers on a tight budget, and private rooms for couples and families.
The swimming pool is always open during the day, and if the bright sunshine begins to burn, you can stroll into our hostel restaurant, called 'Casa de Avinoam.' Here you will find a wide range of meal choices, including a daily fixed-price menu for an unbeatable price. You may find yourself staying there for hours, chatting with new friends, and admiring the memorable paintings on the walls. The thin crust pizza sold here is addictive.
In the evening, you can climb up the sand dunes in back of the hotel for an amazing view of the sunset over the desert landscape.

Carola del Sur enjoys an excellent location in Huacachina. As mentioned earlier, we are less than a block from the lagoon and its pedestrian-only street that loops around the oasis. We are located on Angela Perotti avenue, near several bars and internet cafes. Huacachina feels like a small desert resort town; most of the people there are foreign and domestic tourists. Huacachina is a ten minute drive by taxi from the bus stations in Ica; taxis inside the bus stations are cheap and safe
