From Puerto Princesa: By Bus: The only bus/jeepney going to Port Barton leaves every day around 9 am. You should leave Puerto Princesa around 8 am. Let a tricycle driver bring you to to the bus terminal in San Jose. Tell him to stop at the bus/jeepney going to Port Barton. The fare is around 100 peso. Monkey Family is located at the only road into town, so you can't miss it. If you take the bus/jeepney from Puerto Princesa, just tell the driver to drop you off at the Monkey Family. We can arrange reservations for the buses, so you won't have to worry about a seat. Just let us know when you are coming. The bus fare is 250 peso. By Van: There are air-conditioned vans for hire available throughout Palawan. The fare is around 6000 peso for the whole van going from Puerto Princesa to Port Barton. The capacity of a van is about 10 people, so if you are a group of people, you can choose this more comfortable option. Tell the driver to drop you off at the Monkey Family, the first big house at the entrance of Port Barton directly after the rice fields. By Motorbike: Motorbikes are around 350 peso a day in Puerto Princesa. You can self-drive to Port Barton taking the National Highway going north. After 122 km, there is a rather dirt road on the left going another 22 km through the jungle coming to Port Barton. The last 22 km are rather a jungle trek and can be muddy by times. The condition of the road depends on the weather conditions and the road should be taken by experienced drivers only! Going down the last hill, after the rice fields, Monkey Family is the first house on your left. From El Nido/Sabang: By Boat: There are boats available either from El Nido or Sabang going to Port Barton. Just talk to the local boatmen or resorts if they can arrange trips. Let us know when you arrive, we can pick you up from the beach. By Bus: From El Nido, take a bus going south to Puerto Princesa; from Sabang, take any bus going north and tell the bus driver to drop you off at the intersection going to Port Barton. From there, you can either rent a tricycle or a motorbike to take you to Port Barton or wait for another Jeepney from either Puerto Princesa or Roxas. From San Vicente: There is a daily boat going to Port Barton. Ask the local boatmen. From Roxas: There is a daily Jeepney from Roxas to Port Barton at 11 am. Enjoy your trip !!!
