From Chopin Airport: 1. By TAXI Generally from the Warsaw's Chopin Airport direct to city center (Marszalkowska St. and Palace Of Culture). You can take a taxi (there are a lot of them) but be carefull not to get cheated because the cost should be around 50zl (13 euro/16$). 2. By bus There is also an option to travel (from the airport) with bus. The bus stop is in front of the entrance of the arrival hall. Get in bus number 175 (heading towards Pl. Pilsudskiego). You will go through the city center, around 23 bus stops (duration approx. 32-41min). It will bring you almost to Plac Zamkowy Sq (Castle Square) (you should out at stop called 'Uniwersytet'). Than there is only few minutes walking or you can take bus 116, 180 or 222 and travel two stops (out at 'Plac Zamkowy' stop). You can buy the bus tickets from the driver, a machine at the bus stop or ticket machines on the bus itself. The one-time ticket will cost you 4,40zl (1 euro/1,3$). 3. By train Chopin Airport and Warsaw's city centre are connected by a fast and convenient rail link. The airport train station is to the right of the exit (follow the signs). The train ride from the airport to the city centre takes approx. 25 minutes. The service is operated by two companies - Szybka Kolej Miejska - SKM (Fast Urban Railway - red colour) - S2, S3C and S3S - and Koleje Mazowieckie - KM (Masovian Railways - green and yellow colour). The trains go every 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop: WARSZAWA CENTRALNA or WARSZAWA SRÓDMIESCIE (it depends on the train). There you have to catch bus number 175 (heading towards Pl. Pilsudskiego). You will go through the city center, around 7 bus stops (duration approx. 10-15min). Get off at 'Uniwersytet' stop - and from there travel with bus 116, 180 or 222 two stops to Pl. Zamkowy (Castle Square) - from there it's only few minutes walking From Warsaw Central rail station On one side of the train station there is Marriott Hotel (can't miss it).Using an underground passage you have to reach a bus stop 01.Al.Jerozolimskie (next to Marriot).There you have to catch bus number 175 (heading towards Pl. Pilsudskiego). You will go through the city center, around 7 bus stops (duration approx. 10-15min). Get off at 'Uniwersytet' stop - and from there travel with bus 116, 180 or 222 two stops to Pl. Zamkowy (Castle Square) - from there it's only few minutes walking.
