The Estate sits in the heart of a nature reserve within the Serra de Monchique.
It lies on the Southern slopes of Picota mountain at an altitude of 330 metres, and so enjoys what is probably the most stunning view in the Monchique Region, known locally as O Mira Douro (The Golden View).
It has a clear backdrop of the Southern Coastline approx 25 minutes distant and also overlooks the Oudelouca Lake.
Its design has taken the environment completely into consideration with its power coming from wind and solar power generators. Its water supply is the world famous natural spring waters of the Monchique Mountains.
The owners at this stage have decided to offer just 2 rooms for hire and are keen to offer a personalized dedicated service to guests who will appreciate this opportunity to stay in what is a really rather special location.
