Casa dos Varais

Perched on the banks of the Douro River and in the heart of Port wine region, Casa dos Varais offers rooms with a balcony and a private bathroom. There is an outdoor pool and a restaurant.

Each room is decorated in classical-style décor and features wooden parquet floors, a small seating area with a sofa. The villa has 3 balconies with river views and a fully equipped kitchen and dining area and a private pool.

A continental breakfast is served daily in the restaurant and guests can relax on the sun terrace and enjoy a selection wines from the Casa’s own vineyard. Local dishes can be ordered upon request.

The surrounding gardens and vineyards are perfect for a walk. Other activities include hiking and canoeing. Indoors, guests can relax in the library.

Casa dos Varais is a 15-minute drive from Castelo de Lamego and less than 10 minutes' drive from Peso da Régua. Porto International Airport is a 1.5-hour drive away. Free parking is available on site.
