Eco Hostel Casa de S. Francisco

Our own family vacation house has 6 rooms available for renting. Each 3 rooms share a bathroom. There are 2 living rooms each with a fireplace, a dining room, music area with instruments, our own chapel, a fully equipped kitchen, a traditional kitchen with bread oven, a laundry room and a garage with table football and bicycles. We are not connected to the electricity company and only use the energy we produce. There is a cafe with wifi only 200 meters away.

Outside we have a swimming pool a small kitchen, 2 barbecues, chill out area, camping area with a fire circle, an ecologic toilet, a chicken house, a kennel for your pets, water tank, food garden and parking place.

We also offer the possibility to camp by the circle of fire or park your caravan. Breakfast is included and the kitchen is at our guest`s disposal.

Our unusual house in the middle of the mountains was specially built to spend great holidays with the ones that we love. A place to forget your routine and to reconnect with nature and traditions.
 

Located Near

We are residents in the small village of Boavista, in the valley of Campe�. This valley was once a huge lake thousands of years ago and is surrounded by 2 great mountains: Serra do Mar�o and Serra do Alv�o (protected natural park). You can hike or bike around the mountains, jump in the waterfalls of Fisgas do Ermelo, discover the traditional villages, explore the douro wine region and many other treasurses. We are 1 hour away from Porto (85 km) and 15 min away from Vila Real (12 km).
