Bucovina Hills Guesthouse

A welcome escape from the concrete apartment blocks of the city, Bucovina Hills Guesthouse is set in the heart of Romania's rolling countryside.

Just outside Gura Humorului, at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, Bucovina Hills is a homely property with a variety of affordable, well-equipped accommodation.

A short 10-minute stroll along a meandering country road will bring you to the 16th-century Humor Monastery, one of the region's famous painted monasteries.

Other monasteries can also be easily reached. Voronet Monastery, with its famous blue colour, is about 10km away. Moldovita and Sucevita Monasteries are 25km and 50km away respectively. Tours with a local guide are available upon request.

Fans of the great outdoors will love exploring the area on foot or on two wheels. Swimming and skiing are also on offer at the nearby Arinis Park.

Breakfast and other traditional local dishes can be served at the guesthouse on request, and we also have a kitchen and BBQ for guests' use.

Linen is provided. Free WiFi is available throughout the house.
A pick-up service from the airport, train station and bus station can be arranged on request.
