Turas-Mara Guest House

Run by Jackie & Billy the Turas-Mara Guest House is a Victorian Villa- over 100 year old located just 5 minutes from the centre of Ayr while still being only 10 minutes by road or rail for Prestwick Airport.

Here at the Turas-Mara Guest House we offer a double room, twin room and a triple room each of which is equipped with a television, DVD player and freeview digital channels. Other in room amenities include a complimentary hospitality tray and all rooms are ensuite- with shower. Our triple room features a double bed and a single bed- however it can accommodate a fourth guest bed upon request for an additional £15.00. Please request this at the time of booking so we may process the request correctly in advance.

Breakfast is served between 8-9am daily in the front room overlooking the garden. We serve a variety of choices on the breakfast menu for guests to choose from and to help set you up for the day. Upon request we can serve you breakfast between 7-8am and if you are departing before 7am we offer a takeaway picnic breakfast.

For guests arriving after 9pm we can arrange a light supper- at a chargeable extra. Please advise up when booking if you require this so we can do our best to assist with the request. For guests arriving after 10pm please advise us at the time of booking (and if applicable your flight number) so we can wait up to welcome you.

Attractions located near the Turas-Mara Guest House include the Scottish Bowling Centre, Burns Country as well as the seafront and the Gaiety Theatre. Our location also means we are an ideal base for a golfing break in the Ayrshire countryside- with a range of courses nearby and packages arranged for you upon request. We are also happy to arrange cycle hire for those looking in explore the area.
