Allison House

The Allison House offers great guesthouse accommodation in an elegant townhouse, ideally located to visit all of the Edinburgh city's popular attractions. It is lovingly family-owned and managed by David and Anne-Marie Hinnrichs who warmly welcome you to stay with them.

Here at the Allison House we feature ten guest bedrooms, each of which have been freshly refurbished with beautiful Black Watch and Lindsay tartan fabric-giving you an authentic Scottish ambience to enjoy while staying here with us. For your comfort each of the rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, LCD televisions, wireless internet access, writing desks, trousers press, ironing facilities, direct dial telephones, hairdryers, radio, as well as a complimentary hospitality tray and decanter of whisky and sherry.

A full cooked Scottish breakfast is served and included in the price. However, for those who prefer something lighter we also offer a continental buffet option where we offer a wide selection of fruit juices, cereals, a large selection of fresh fruit, croissants and pastries and continental cheeses.

The Allison House's location is perfect for guests looking to sightsee and explore Edinburgh. Some attractions located close to the property include the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, The Scottish Parliament and the Whisky Heritage Centre. Many other top attractions are also located in the vicinity of the B&B.

For those travelling by car here at the Allison House we offer complimentary car parking facilities. For those relying on public transport we are ideally located close to the extensive public transport system of Edinburgh meaning easy access to the whole city and for a hassle free stay in Edinburgh.
