Highfield Guest House, dating from1883, is a splendid Victorian guest house which offers a warm, friendly welcome and is conveniently located to enjoy Scotland's beautiful capital city and for visitors to the University of Edinburgh, British Geological Society and the Forrestry Commission . We offer 4 star quality accommodation in our non-smoking home and the highest standards throughout the property.

We feature four guestrooms each of which have ensuite shower facilities and one single room with private shower facilities. All rooms are equipped with a television, hospitality tray, radio alarm clock, hairdryer and toiletries for your comfort. Complimentary WiFi internet access is available throughout the property. Breakfast is included in the rates and includes a varied menu; for those looking to experience a true Scottish breakfast we also serve Scottish vegetarian haggis with other vegetarian options.

There is ample, free, on-street parking in our residential area and we are well served by public transport which offers frequent, inexpensive bus services to all areas of the city.
