McLays Guest House
McLays Guesthouse is located in the centre of Glasghow and features 81 bedrooms ranging from single rooms to 5 bed rooms. All guestrooms are fully equipped and many have ensuite bathrooms. We are close to all attractions as well as restaurants, cafes, bars, cinemas, nightclubs and live music venues. We are conveniently located for visiting Glasgow's many museums and art galleries. We are also just minutes away from Glasgow's finest shopping streets Sauchiehall Street and Buchanan Street.
Each of our 81 rooms come with a television, satellite channels, tea/coffee facilities and telephone. We offer rooms with either shower and toilet ensuite or rooms with a shared bathroom facilities. We have single rooms, twin rooms, double rooms, triple rooms, 4 bed rooms and 5 bed rooms. The triple rooms consist of 1 double bed and one single bed. The 4 bed rooms consist of one double bed and 2 single beds. The 5 bed room consists of one double bed and 3 single beds.
Check in is availabe from 2pm and check out is 11am.
If you arrive before 2pm then we can store your baggage for you.
Breakfast is served between 7-9am and consists of the full Scottish breakfast. If you require an earlier breakfast we will do our best to assist in that request.
Carparking is not available at the property however Glasgow City Council has a voucher scheme in operation for parking and we can supply the vouchers on their behalf for a nominal cost to enable parking. The cost from 4pm to 8am the next day is £2.00. The cost from 8am to 2pm is £2.00. The cost from 8am to 4pm is £4.00. There is also a 24 hour multi-storey car park 2 minutes drive away from the guest house.
All the main transport points such as Glasgow Central Station, Queen Street Station and Buchanan Bus Station are all easily reached on foot and are just a 15-20 minutes walk away.
We are at 260-276 Renfrew Street, the same street as the world famous Glasgow School of Art, we are approx 100 metres further down the street from it.
