Shikwari Bush Lodge offers luxury accommodation in South Africa's Limpopo province, 38km from Hoedspruit and an hour from the famous Kruger National Park. Nestling under the northern Drakensburg Mountains, our exclusive lodge is situated close to dramatic Blyde River Canyon, the third largest in the world.

Shikwari Bush Lodge boasts four beautifully furnished guest suites set into the bush, all equipped air conditioning, fans, hairdryers and hospitality trays. Comfortable beds are dressed in sumptuous percale linen and the luxurious en-suite bathrooms feature large oval baths and outdoor showers. Rates include a full English breakfast.

Our main lodge offers a pristine plunge pool and a shady verandah where guests can cool off or sip on a sundowner while the setting sun paints the mountain scenery with vivid colours. Later, guests can enjoy dinner al fresco under a starry velvet sky or inside in the candlelit dining room. We also offer an open-air kitchen, a pub and a cosy fireplace lounge for cooler evenings.

Shikwari Bush Lodge is surrounded by lush greenery and a wide variety of flora and fauna which guests can explore on one of our guided walks or game drives, led by a trained FGASA guide.
