Set in the peaceful leafy suburbs of South Johannesburg, this uniquely safe, friendly Backpackers, makes an ideal base for touring Southern Africa.
Lehaye-Ekhaya is the owners private home, with well kept lawn and shrubbery tropical fruit trees, giving shaded areas to sit out the heat of the day on comfortable garden seating while enjoying a BBQ or a dip in the pool.
We have four double rooms, one ensuite, one poolside room with WC. Ten camping pitches, swimming pool, bar TV lounge, outdoor washing area and campfire area with disco sound system.
Taxis to Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana and Zimbabwe leave every day from the city centre, which is only 20 minutes drive away.

Staff are always on hand, with the owner living on site with her family.
We fully welcome all well behaved pets.
The poolside room is particularly accessible for wheelchair use having self catering and ensuite facilities.
