Customer Reviews for Orange Tree Farm
Where do I start? This place is so beautiful and made our stay on Gran Canaria just perfect. It is located south east where you have the best weather on the island - it is close to the romantic Puerto Mogan but just enough away from it to get into the feeling of total serenity... The garden where we had breakfast everyday is too beautiful to describe - palmtrees and colourful plants surround the inviting tables where you can have fresh fruits, juices, good coffee and in the evenings or for lunch very tasty and healthy traditional Spanish food. Pablo, who is a very kind and joyful man who makes you feel good and at home, cooks himself and one night he even prepared a traditional paella for us on the grill in the garden. His wife Yuli is very kind, too and we felt so much at home with this beautiful family. When you think about what you pay to stay in this very nice, clean, cozy and truly Canarian house in the midst of Fruit Plantations, Trees and in this beautiful Valley of Mogan where you wake up to sunny weather and blue skies every day, it is amazing! The rooms are clean and with nice wooden furniture. It is enough space to sleep - during the day you want to sit outside on the terrasse or in the beautiful garden or explore the island anyway. You can get around by bus but with a car it is best to explore the island. Pablo knows very good places - even the route to remote beaches where we had one of our most beautiful days during the stay. We are still thinking about our vacation very often and will for sure go back there! Anything we asked for was taken care of - they even added soft blankets to our bed so it was super cozy. The shower was always nice and warm and you can wash your clothes in their washing machine and then hang them so they can dry in the sun. We had a wonderful vacation and a major reason for this was that we chose this place. On the internet site, we fell in love with the name Orange Tree Farm and the pictures of it, during the stay this first impression was absolutely deepened. We can only recommend it - and if there is anything you wish for or that doesn't suit your needs, ask Pablo and he will perform mircacles. Thank you so much, Orange Tree Farm!!!

Let's start by saying that the owner Pablo is a very kind and helpful person ! We had a room with nice mountain views and not at the road side (I think that side is a bit noisy). Very clean. The B&B is in fact only a B, because breakfast is in Pablo's restaurant a few miles further (luckily we had a rental car). It's very noisy, you can hear the other attendants way too good ! The beds are not very comfortable. Let's conclude that this is definitely more a hostel than a B&B.

If you like travelling to places that are on the one hand not in the center of touristic attraction but on the other not too remote, choose this place. As an extra bonus you get very friendly hosts (speaking English and German), good food under all kind of tropical trees. We definitely recommend this place!

Really nice and peaceful place and Pablo is absolutely lovely and always willing to help. It is a bit of a way to the town so best if you have a car but really nice to be slightly away (approx 8 min drive) from the mega tourism of the coast. Would definitely recommend!
