2 luxury apartments the centre of Ugijar (one of the largest villages) in the heart of Las Alpujarras, foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, unspoilt Southern Spain. This is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the slower more relaxed pace of Spain as it once was, unspoilt, friendly and honest.
Only 40 minutes either way from the beaches of the Costa Tropical or skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Ideal for cycling or walking 5mins from the GR7 walking trail through Europe.
It is excellent for nature lovers with the flora and fauna (eagles,vultures & ibex are spotted often)
There is a large village pool open through the Summer months as well as many other mountain pools all with bar/restaurant. The historic village with museum/monuments and pretty village squares,has everything from many bars/restaurants, clothes/shoe shops, supermarkets,chemist, pharmacy.
It is traditional Spanish with very friendly locals/traditions, many fiestas and a large market twice a month. The food in the bars and restaurants is excellent where tapas is still served free with a cold glass of beer. The prices and service are much more favourable to the coastal resorts.
The apartments are excellent standard totally refurbished in rustic Spanish style with all the comforts of home. 85% of our visitors have rebooked! (comments can be viewed on our website). The one bedroom apartment overlooks the front of the property with 2 sets of rustic double doors opening onto the balcony. It sleeps 2/3 with quality bed linen/towels, wood and leather furniture, washer/fridgefreezer/microwave/kettle/toaster/flatscreen TV & DVD player. The large apartment has 3 double bedrooms to sleep 6, similar facilities plus Uk Sky TV and large outdoor seating area under vines and access to roof terrace. Both have free wireless internet access. The apartments are totally separate but fill the whole floor and could be opened to form one large area if required. Both have spacious hallways, kitchen, bathroom and living/dining rooms.The owners are on hand for help/advice if needed and pickup from the airport can be arranged. Excellent flight prices are available via Ryanair, BMI Baby, Monarch,Jet2.com
