La Orotava is famous for its traditional houses (casa balcones), Canarian food, artists, folk-music and fiestas (flower-carpets).
It is an ideal starting-point for mountain-bikers, hiking- and climbing-tours, because the well known 'Canadas de Teide' are only 12 KM away, the Mount Teide itself you can reach by car or bus in less then one hour.
All house-mates share an inside- and outside-kitchen with barbecue possibility,a dining-room with SAT-TV, three bathrooms, three terraces with a smoker's-pavillon, and a huge garden for camping (up to six tents) between fruit-trees and biological vegetables. Yoga- or Meditation-Retreats can be practiced on our huge roof-terrace. In the house itself we offer three single rooms and three double rooms.
Our romantic finca-villa is situated in the center of the ancient part of La Orotava, three minutes to go shopping, 10min walk to the busstation, 10 min.drive to the beautiful beaches of Puerto de La Cruz, 20 minutes by bus to visit the University of La Laguna. The National Park of the Canadas del Teide is 12 KM away, the Mount Teide itself 43 KM.
