This was the third time we visited Sri Lanka and our first time at Marine Tourist Guesthouse. We were very pleased with the way we were welcomed. Nishan (the owner) and his mother did their utmost to make our stay a happy one. We noticed the cleanliness of the building and our room (especially the bathroom). A relief compared to other hotels we visited in Sri Lanka. Nishan helped me out when my iPhone was covered by seawater and bought a bottle of batterywater for me to rinse it. After drying it came to life again! So: when visiting Negombo I would surely recommend this guesthouse and stay longer than just one or two nights because the location of Negombo is good to make daytrips. Nishan can organize those too for a reasonable price.
