At Home Sukhothai
Stay At Home while you explore the ancient UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sukhothai. A family home for over 50 years, our traditional wooden house has been recently renovated to offer comfortable accommodation and an authentic Thai experience.
Built by our parents in 1957, the house boasts a range of 11 tastefully decorated private rooms featuring en-suite bathrooms, fans or air conditioning and WiFi.
Outside we have a large, lush garden with a lotus pond - the perfect place to relax with a drink after a long day of sightseeing.
Facilities at At Home Sukhothai include parking, laundry and bicycle rental. Breakfast is included in the rates and other meals are available on request. We also offer traditional Thai massage, an essential part of a holiday to Thailand.
We wish to share our proud heritage by providing visitors to our town with a home away from home.
Please note: rooms with air conditioning are priced more highly than those with fans.
Translating as 'Dawn of Happiness', Sukhothai was Thailand's first capital, between the 14th and 16th centuries. It was the birthplace of the Thai alphabet and it is home to a large number of Thailand's artistic and architectural treasures, including Phum Khao Bin, the Lotus Blossom Stupa. In December 1991 Sukhothai was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At Home Sukhothai is located close to markets and other local amenities, and about 12 kilometres from Sukhothai Historical Park (easily reached by public transport).
