The owner and his family had the dream of building a hotel containing the charm and cultural heritage of Dalat. Their deep love of collectibles and antiques along with a desire to show this treasure to the world led to the idea of building “The Saphir”.

After more than 20 years collecting objects of all kinds and more than eight years of designing the project, the dream come true. Love of the land and its minority community make the Saphir a unique place full of history, nostalgia and compulsory rest for all lovers of travel and culture the world over.

“The Saphir” has been built without altering its unique concept and its natural environment by producer goods made by the craftsmen, locals with ancient knowledge about the construction and the minority. The stone, the pine tree wood in the floors, walls and ceilings, the paint…everything made by hand with local materials following the original architectural design of the French Colonial period.

When the traveler arrives at Saphir, the hotel’s nostalgic atmosphere takes you back in time and your stay in Dalat will be a present for your own life as something “Unique and Unforgettable”.
